The traders’ report this week is short: not many customers, nothing sold in volume, and every price where it was last week. For the buyer that is the best kind of market. Nobody is queuing, shopkeepers have time to talk, and a price list that has stopped moving is one you can plan against. So instead of repeating the list, here is what it buys.
The prices that matter

Build 1: the Tk 50,000 student PC
Ryzen 5 5600G (Tk 14,800) — its built-in graphics run office work, programming, video and light games without a card. Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2 (Tk 11,000). TwinMOS 16 GB DDR4 3200 (Tk 4,700). HP EX900 500 GB NVMe (Tk 4,300). MSI Pro MP223 22-inch monitor (Tk 11,200). A basic case with a 450 W supply and a Logitech K120 keyboard and mouse (about Tk 4,500). Total: roughly Tk 50,500. It will not play new games at high settings, but it will do everything a university course asks and it has an upgrade path: drop in a graphics card later and the rest of the machine keeps up.
Build 2: Tk 90,000 with a graphics card
Core i5 14th gen (Tk 29,000). Gigabyte B760M Gaming X (Tk 20,200). Corsair 16 GB DDR4 (Tk 6,000). Samsung 980 500 GB (Tk 7,300) plus a 2 TB Toshiba for storage (Tk 7,600). RTX 3050 6 GB (Tk 27,000) — the entry point for real gaming and CUDA work at 1080p. Reuse or buy a 22-inch monitor (Tk 12,800), case and 550 W supply (Tk 6,000). Total: about Tk 116,000 with the monitor, Tk 103,000 without it — over budget, which is the point: at today’s prices a discrete graphics card pushes a sensible Intel build past Tk 1 lakh, and the honest Tk 90,000 machine is the Ryzen build above with an RTX 3050 added later.
What to skip this week
DDR4 memory is still nearly double its spring price; buy the minimum and add later. The RTX 5080 at Tk 190,000 is a professional purchase, not a gaming one. And the 13th-gen Core i3 at Tk 13,500 is only Tk 1,300 cheaper than the 5600G, which beats it on graphics; unless you already own an Intel board, it is not worth the saving.
